Q: Is this a 5 pin cylinder based on a Schlage keyway? All I really need is the little pin that retains the threaded retainer at the end of the cylinder- the retainer ring that holds the key cylinder inside the barrel and keeps it from loosening, It's different from a Schlage and parts from a Schlage lock will not fit.

Asked by: Warren - 12/20/2020
A: Yes, this is a 5 pin cylinder based on a Schlage keyway.
