Locksmith
Customer had a broken tail piece on his double cylinder deadbolt. I bought these to service to lock. They worked appropriately and were as described. The customer's lock was older and had deep rosettes, thus the tail pieces that came with these cylinders were too short. I was able to use one old tail piece with one of the new ones to get the double cylinder to function. Just an FYI to others.

Perfect replacement key cylinders
Needed new locks, decided to purchase just cylinders. Cheaper alternative to replace all locks. Shipped fast and easy to install. Great customer service!

Q:
Do these fit an Emtek 8350 wrought steel double cylinder deadbolt. Also, I noticed one of the keying options is to provide a key number. My key does not have a number stamped on it. Can this key number be obtained by using a Schlage key gauge like those used by locksmiths to determine lock pin size? Thanks!

Emtek CY4-PSCHCTOS5 Deadbolt Double Cylinder will fit your 8350 wrought steel double cylinder deadbolt. Your key number can be obtained by using a Schlage key gauge.

Type the tail piece length and door thickness in the comment section of checkout and the cylinders will be built for your door thickness.

the ones I have are Dark Bronze as labeled on the old box that it came in and I don't see it listed as the finish option. which would be closest?

A:
Emtek no longer makes dark bronze finish. Chose oil rubbed bronze or medium bronze. The same cylinder finish is used for both.

If I have a front and back door that take the Cylinder part cy4-pschcts5, is this the correct part to order so that both come keyed the same?

A:
No, these fit a double cylinder deadbolt that is keyed on both exterior and interior. A CY4-PSCHCTS5 is needed for a single cylinder deadbolt. You can chose for 2 cylinders to be keyed alike.
